Kogi East Truth and Reconciliation Meeting

A major Truth and Reconciliation Meeting is scheduled to take place in Idah, Kogi State, bringing together sons and daughters of Kogi East to promote peace, unity and understanding across the region.

The meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for stakeholders, community leaders, political actors, traditional institutions and concerned citizens to come together, engage constructively and seek peaceful resolutions to longstanding differences.

Matters expected to receive attention include political differences, chieftaincy disputes, land-related matters and other issues affecting relationships and peaceful coexistence among the people.

The central objective is to encourage dialogue, reconciliation, forgiveness and mutual understanding, with the belief that lasting peace is essential for meaningful development and progress in Kogi East.
